One-Day Workshop on Family Values Concludes in Butwal

Butwal, Rupandehi — A one-day workshop on family values has concluded in Milan Tole, Ward No. 19 of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City. The event was organised by Family Peace Association Nepal, with Bhupendra Bahadur Bhandari serving as the head trainer and youth leader Sandhya Basnyal facilitating the session.

A total of 32 participants attended the workshop. On-site facilitation was carried out by journalist Sarina Marasini. Sharing their views, participants stated, “In the present context, family values have become deeply significant and highly important,” expressing confidence that such programs make a positive impact on families and the broader community.

The special guest of the event, Kulananda Bhusal, Chairperson of the Tole Reform Committee, remarked that neglecting a sensitive and fundamental issue like the family can lead to social disorder. He expressed happiness that the residents of his community were able to receive training on such an important topic and extended his gratitude to the organiser.

Similarly, the committee’s secretary, Dhan Bahadur Khan, noted that such programs serve as powerful agents of social transformation and emphasised the need to expand them further.

Concluding the program, the organiser expressed its commitment to continuing similar initiatives in the coming days.
